Day 1, Arrive in Leh
Upon arrival in Leh, welcome by our local representative and transfer to a Ladakhi style guest house or Hotel. Later take a complete rest for Acclimatization to the arid high altitude of Leh (3505 m) in the evening will enjoy the sunset point (Shanti stupa). Evening enjoy your dinner and Overnight in Hotel.
Day 2,Leh – Lamayuru (170 Kms | 5-6 hrs approx)
Morning after breakfast drive to Lamayuru enroute visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam (confluence of Zanskar & Indus river) and Liker Monastery. Later continue drive to visit the mesmerizing moon like landscapes and the Lamayuru monastery Evening enjoy your dinner and Overnight in Lamayuru Hotel.
Day 3,17 June Sham – Leh (70 Kms | 3-4 hrs approx)
Morning after the Breakfast drive back to Leh en route visit Alchi monastery and Hall of Fame. Reach Leh by afternoon, check in at hotel. Evening enjoy your dinner and Overnight in Hotel.
Day 4, Leh –Nubra Valley via Khardong – La (128 Kms | 4-5 hrs approx)
Morning after Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla- World’s Highest Motorable road, 18,380 ft. You can have a short breaks at roadside cafes and scenic points for photography at Khardong - La. Upon arrival check in to the camp. After lunch, enjoy a Camel safari on double humped Camel (at your own) which are found only in Ladakh & Mongolia at the Sand Dunes near Hundur Village. If time permits we will have a village walk to see local people & its culture. Evening enjoy your dinner and Overnight in Nubra Valley.
Day 5,Nubra to Pangong via Shyok river road (150 kms / 5-6 hrs approx)
After an early breakfast check out and head for Pangong Tso via shyok. Pangong Lake situated at 13,930 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 125 km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. Upon arrival check in at Lake side Camp & enjoy beauty of the Lake, surrounded by grey and brown mountains, clean and dust washed. Count the waves washing the shores of the color changing Lake and mesmerized by the different shades of blue from Azure to Navy Blue. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Later drive back to Leh, enjoy dinner and Overnight in Hotel.
Day 6, Pangong to Leh (150 KMS / 6 HRS)
Wake up calls by the migratory birds this morning. Enjoy the picturesque view of Sun rise on. After breakfast depart for Lehcrossing Changla pass 17,570 fts the world’s third highest motorable road. Enroute visit Thiksey Gompa & Shey Palace. On arrival at Leh, check into your hotel. Rest of the day free on own. Enjoy dinner and Overnight in Hotel.
Day 7,Leh - Indus Valley sightseeing
After breakfast go for a sightseeing tour to Shey Palace , Thiksey & Hemis monasteries, Stok Palace Museum and Sindhu Ghat. Evening enjoy your dinner and Overnight in Leh Hotel.
Day 8, Leh Airport Drop (4 -5 Kms, 20 minutes approx)
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel (Check out Time 8.00 AM) & will transfer you to Airport (as per flight timing) to board flight for onwards destination.
